The inauguration was spearheaded by Archbishop Dom Virgilio do Carmo da Silva of Dili, few months before his appointment as the first Cardinal in Dili, and assisted by Prime Minister Taur Matan Ruak.<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-527 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.fspdd.tl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/UCT2a.jpg?resize=300%2C223&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.fspdd.tl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/UCT2a.jpg?resize=300%2C223&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.fspdd.tl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/UCT2a.jpg?w=500&amp;ssl=1 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Within the scope of the learning process at the Universidade Cat\u00f3lica Timorense (UCT), Funda\u00e7\u00e3o S\u00e3o Paulo is the Maintainer Entity of Universidade Cat\u00f3lica Timorense (UCT).\u00a0 As a Maintainer Entity of the UCT, the competencies of Funda\u00e7\u00e3o S\u00e3o Paulo are:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1). Create the necessary conditions for the normal functioning of the UCT, ensuring its administrative, economic, financial, and property management, within the framework of the law in force in Timor Leste in terms of higher education;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2).
